How many appointments will it take to finish my Invisalign treatment?
Each patient is assigned their own Patient Manager, so you will see the same assistant each time you are here and develop a relationship with that person. Typically Invisalign treatment is completed in less than 10 appointments. We've had many patients tell us they love their beautiful new smile but they are sorry their treatment is complete because they will miss seeing us!
How long does the procedure take?
Procedure time varies based on what we are doing. Typical appointments take about 20 minutes in our office. More time is required for the initial consultation, taking records, and aligner delivery.
How much time will I be spending with the doctor during the course of my Invisalign treatment?
Each patient gets individualized care, so the amount of doctor time can vary between patients. We strive to give each patient the personal attention they want and need.
Will my Invisalign treamtment be performed by the doctor or an assistant?
Assistants can perform many of the needed procedures. Collectively, our staff has over 100 years of orthodontic experience and the average length of employment in our office is 12 years. The procedures performed by our assistants are always examined by the orthodontist for quality and accuracy.
Is Invisalign right for all patients?
The Invisalign System is an alternative to braces for patients who have full adult dentition and complete jaw growth, and it is effective on a broad range of cases. Dr. Starr and Dr. Dickens can determine if you are a good candidate during an initial exam.
Will my insurance cover my Invisalign treatment?
Insurance coverage varies between patients. You will be asked to provide your insurance information when you call to schedule the initial consultation. This allows us to confirm your benefits prior to your first appointment. During your initial consultation, we will be able to tell you how much insurance will cover for your treatment.
If not, what are my financial options?
As with braces, the cost of the Invisalign System depends on the complexity of your case and your course of treatment. We have flexible payment options with in-house financing available. We also offer discounts for payment in full.
